Microsoft will be offering free Wi-Fi in the United Kingdom as part of its new marketing blitz supposed to promote the recently released Office 365 productivity suite.

The new campaign is handled by UM London, according to The Drum, and includes some other goodies beside free Wi-Fi in specific areas, such as lawn art and train time table media.

Free Wi-Fi connectivity will be provided in 15 various stations in Glasgow too, while Office 365 commercials will reach new customers via radio, TV, newspapers and other platforms.

“This campaign will give commuters and the UK business community an insight into the features and benefits of the new product, and encourage them to explore the ability to work from anywhere – in the office, at home and in between,” Philippa Snare, chief marketing officer at Microsoft UK, was quoted as saying by the source.
