Free System Center Datacenter Management and Virtualization Enablement Kit

System Integrators dealing with System Center now have a new resource from Microsoft to streamline their work. The Redmond company made available the Datacenter Management and Virtualization Enablement Kit for System Integrators via Microsoft Connect. Tom Mertens, Microsoft partner technology advisor, revealed that the new resource could be accessed completely for free. Of course, users will still need a valid Windows Live ID in order to get to the content featured on Microsoft Connect.

For those that are unfamiliar with the System Center for Systems Integrators, the program is set up to accelerate the adoption of System Center products. Essentially, Microsoft is laboring to offer System Integrators the necessary resources to get familiarized with System Center products and keep up the pace with their evolution.

“The System Center Enablement Kit is a new initiative that brings all the components together for Services Integration consulting partners to deliver high-quality, repeatable Proof-of-Concept engagements on System Center Products. It contains resources for SI partners to build datacenter practices deploying Microsoft products,” Mertens stated.

System Integrators will discover that the System Center Datacenter Management and Virtualization Enablement Kit is available completely for free on Connect. “This toolkit contains everything a system integrator needs to perform a 5-day Proof-of-Concept: Virtual machines, Scenario documentation, Presentations, and Planning templates,” Mertens added.

Some System Integrators have already taken advantage of the Enablement Kit. Fact is that Microsoft is providing not only the Datacenter Management & Virtualization Enablement Kit, but also the Client Management & Virtualization Enablement Kit. “One focuses on client management technologies and the other stays in the datacenter focusing on server management technologies. These enablement kits provide everything you need to get your System Center practice up and running. And when that happens, we want to hear from you. Our goal is to drive deeper partnerships that will lead to increased System Center sales and adoption,” the company stated.
