It seems to be raining with Facebook scams and the latest drop is represented by an advertisement that offers free Starbucks vouchers.

“To celebrate 40 years of Starbucks, we are giving away thousands of $100 Gift Vouchers FREE,” reads the message that accompanies the ad.

The supposedly free meals can be yours if you promote the hoax among your friends and complete a quick survey but on the survey website you are asked for your email address, which will allow the scammers to later bombard you with all sorts of malicious elements.

Facebook members can easily detect such alerts as being part of a scheme as usually they serve a lot of pop-up windows, promoting suspicious products and services. Also, the large number of redirects and the shady looking domain names should also clue you in on the plot.
