Free Shazam Player App Released for iPhone, iPad

Shazam today added a new offering to its iOS lineup by introducing Shazam Player, described as a unique music player that includes the Shazam discovery features and social sharing on Facebook and Twitter.

Shazam Player will let you stream lyrics, share songs on Facebook and Twitter, watch YouTube videos and concert clips of the artists you love, and stay up to date with concert dates.

It’s easy to manage your music by keeping your existing iTunes playlists (or new playlists) within the app.

“Why just listen to your music when you can now see streaming lyrics, watch YouTube videos and read reviews of your favorite tracks and artists! Get to know your music with Shazam Player,” says Shazam Entertainment Ltd.

The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later.
