14 DAY TRIAL // The Games with Gold for Xbox 360 in the month of May have just been revealed, with Microsoft confirming that Xbox Live Gold members with active subscriptions can grab for free Saints Row: The Third and Dust: An Elysian Tail.
The Xbox 360 is still going strong in terms of sales, as quite a lot of gamers worldwide see the value and the rich library of the console as attractive features, as opposed to the Xbox One, for example.
Besides that, on the Xbox 360, Xbox Live Gold members can also enjoy the Games with Gold program, which brings them two free games each month that they can play for as long as they want.
After some really strong lineups in the first few months of 2014, Microsoft has now revealed the May listing for Games with Gold, confirming that Dust: An Elysian Tail and Saints Row 3 are going free in the next 30 days.
First up, between today, May 1, and May 16, Xbox Live Gold members with active subscriptions can download Dust: An Elysian Tail for free.
In case you missed it when it first appeared a few years ago, Dust: An Elysian Tail is a delightful independent game that delivers a 2D side-scrolling action adventure experience.
"In the land of Falana, the titular protagonist discovers a mysterious sword that alters his life and sets him on the road to becoming a hero. If fast-paced action, exploration, and seriously good-looking environments are your thing, you'll want to pick up 'Dust: An Elysian Tail' when it makes its Games with Gold debut on May 1," Microsoft said on the Xbox Wire about the free title.
Between May 16 and May 31, Xbox Live Gold users will be able to download Saints Row: The Third, one of the more recent installments in the open world sandbox series from Volition, which delivered a great over-the-top experience for fans to enjoy.
"If you're in for something a little bit grittier, Volition's critically acclaimed Saints Row 3: The Third might be just the kind of raw, hilarious, and over-the-top open-world adventure you need. Dust: An Elysian Tail is already available as a free download via the Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360.
