A new survey conducted by Money Supermarket revealed that the Internet users are very attracted by pornography but what's more interesting is that many of them intend to download adult material at work. According to Web User, no less than 8 percent of the users who usually download porn want to do it at work, an activity that would surely reduce the work efficiency and employees' performances. It was revealed that most of the viewers are men while only 1 of 50 women admitted they download porn content from the Internet. At this time, there are numerous companies which prefer to filter the web in order to restrict the employees from accessing adult material but, it's extremely easy to download it since most of them know what a proxy server is.

"Our research reveals people's appetite for downloading and viewing content online has grown and is now an everyday occurrence," Jason Lloyd, Money Supermarket official said for Web User. "I was shocked to see so many people are taking risks by viewing and downloading adult content at work. There are numerous safeguards employers can put in place, but I would recommend simply looking at productivity levels, especially amongst the male workforce."

As always, the pornography can have a big impact over the productivity of the employees who download it. It has a similar effect like the social networking websites or the video sharing platforms, some very popular technologies that are now banned in numerous companies all over the world.

Even the software companies tried to exploit this problem. Some of them developed advanced applications that are able to block the employees' access to a certain kind of websites such as pornographic page of social networking sites. However, the large companies are restricting the access to specific pages straight from their servers but, if you want an easy to use solution, feel free to look for one on Softpedia.
