PopSip, a newcomer to the social media gaming industry, offers Android users a new way of spending quality time while not really doing anything.
The Android trivia game developed by PopSip allows users to pass time answering questions or by simply asking question to the user community.
The company announced that both Android and iOS platforms had received their own versions in addition to upgrades to the PopSip web application.
Those unfamiliar with this company should know that PopSip is a free online game that focuses on trivia, opinion and other question and answer scenarios with the sole purpose of offering players a funny way of passing time.
PopSip also mentions some of the upcoming features of the game that will be implemented in the near future: players will be able to build friend groups, host private questions, upload images and manage their own virtual world.
In addition, PopSip players will be allowed to manage their custom game for themselves and their friends who visit their customized PopSip experience.
According to the company, the PopSip system will be improved next year and more games will be released for both Android and iOS mobile platforms.
“Since the recent release of PopSip we are seeing many new users and are hearing from most that they need mobile access. Today's official launch of the initial PopSip mobile products will allow greater flexibility in how users access the system,” said Jeffrey Godwin, vice president of FTI Groups.
Furthermore, PopSip claims that its games incorporate an architecture that supports deployment of the technology as a business tool, which will greatly help the financial support of the company.
Although this is the company’s first mobile game release, PopSip chose to team up with FTI Groups to manage their development and initial marketing.
“PopSip” trivia game is now available as a free download via Android Market and is fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
