EA has just unveiled the latest title in the Origin On The House program, in the form of Peggle for PC and Mac, allowing anyone to download the game until August 5.

Electronic Arts has been trying to draw in more and more users to its Origin digital distribution service in recent years and the company has run plenty of different promotions, while offering its own games only through it.

In recent months, however, a really special "On The House" program has been unveiled by the company, in which it offers free games for different periods of time.

Quite a lot of great ones have been free as part of the offer, such as Plants vs. Zombies, Battlefield 3, Dead Space, and more.

Now, Peggle has just entered the program, as it's free to download until August 5. Any Origin users who get the game will be able to play it for as long as they want.

Both the PC and Mac editions are free, so it doesn't matter on what platform you game.

You can expect EA to continue this program for the foreseeable future, as it's drawing in quite a lot of people to its Origin service. You might also expect the company to run some form of sale in the following weeks, as Valve's Steam service is set to debut the traditional Steam Summer Sale of 2014 this Thursday, on June 19.
