14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft is gearing up to finalize the next version of the Office System, and the company is expected to introduce special deals to accompany the product’s launch. One such offering is now live. The Redmond company is providing free copies of Office 2010 via the Office Excitement Kit website, according to Lesley Rubin, Microsoft Central Region-Partner marketing manager. Users interested in this offering, should hurry, as the availability of free Office 2010 licenses is limited.
“What's all the buzz around Office 2010? The powerful, new features in Microsoft Office 2010 give you the best productivity experience across the PC, phone, and browser. Complete at least three training courses on Office 2010 to get a free copy of Microsoft Office Professional 2010!” a message on the Office Excitement Kit site reads.
Ahead of registering for free copies of Office 2010, customers will need to first verify the qualification of the Office Excitement Kit. In order to do this, users will be required to complete a set of no less than three training courses on Office 2010 from the Microsoft Partner University.

Office 2010 is currently in Release Candidate stage, a build that is tested by a limited number of early adopters. At the same time, RC is the final development milestone ahead of RTM (release to manufacturing), namely the stage that is synonymous with Microsoft wrapping up the product.
