Free Microsoft Web Camps Training Kit Available

Web Camps Training Kit is a collection of resources available for download from Microsoft designed to streamline the development of web applications using the company’s technologies.

What the software giant is offering is the July 2010 release of the Web Camps Training Kit, namely the latest update to the download, which was already available to web developers.

As is the case with a range of training resources from Microsoft, the Web Camps Training Kit is offered free of charge.

Devs interested in building Cloud applications based on Microsoft’s development technologies can grab the kit from the Download Center.

“The kit includes all the content presented around the world at the recent Web Camps events; presentations, demos, labs and more,” Microsoft stated.

“Inside the new kit you’ll find content that covers the following technologies: ASP.NET MVC 2; ASP.NET 4 Web Forms; jQuery; Entity Framework; and Visual Studio 2010,” the company added.

Of course, in order to leverage the contents offered by the Redmond company customers will need the latest development platform and tools from the Software giant.

Microsoft launched Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 earlier this year. Users will be able to find all relevant download links at the bottom of this article.

“We’ve also included scenario based content which comes in the form of complimentary slides, demos, demo scripts and hands-on-labs. These scenarios show you how to take your own web application from an idea and prototype all the way to getting more visitors and optimizing for performance using the Microsoft Web Platform and other technologies from Microsoft,” the company explained.

Microsoft also exemplified the specific scenarios in which the Web Camps Training Kit will help developers with their Cloud projects.

According to the company, devs will be able to turn to the kit for prototyping, building, enhancing, attracting more visitors, and optimizing their web apps for High Performance.
