Free 'Katy Perry Revenge by Bing' iPhone Game Available Today

Microsoft is hard at work with pushing its Bing to as many mobile platforms in as many ways as possible, and a new step in this direction has just been announced, in the form of a free “Katy Perry Revenge by Bing” game for the Apple iPhone.

The new game includes Katy Perry’s new single “Firework,” and can be downloaded for free from Apple iTunes here.

“Over the past year, we’ve been working with a number of companies to sponsor mobile apps,” Wibe Wagemans, Bing for mobile, notes in a recent post on Bing Mobile Blog.

“As we continue to roll out advancements to Bing for mobile across several mobile platforms, we’re pleased to announce an exciting new offer from Tapulous, part of Disney Mobile.”

The new mobile solution comes from the same company that delivered the Tap Tap Revenge, which became the No. 1 most-downloaded music game for the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad.

Katy Perry Revenge by Bing offers gamers the possibility to try out four different Katy Perry inspired themes, while enjoying advance access to the latest single off Perry’s No. 1 album “Teenage Dream,” one week before it would make its radio debut.

At the same time, iPhone users would get Bing integrated into the experience, so that they can easily search for the lyrics of various Katy Perry songs they like the most.

While the free app offers only Katy Perry’s new single “Firework,” those who will get the premium app would receive access to 9 other songs.

The company also notes that the Katy Perry Revenge Premium application, with included 10 awesome tracks was the #1 Music game on the US app store, and that it also made it to the top 50 app on the US app store.
