Xbox 360 owners as well as Internet Explorer 9 users can enjoy up to a month of free Hulu Plus.

Larry Hryb, director of Programming for Xbox Live announced that as of April 29th, 2011, gamers with Xbox 360 consoles can start watching TV shows free of charge via Hulu Plus for at least the first week.

“To celebrate the debut of Hulu Plus on Xbox LIVE, Jack Link’s Beef Jerky is unlocking Hulu Plus on Xbox LIVE from April 29 – May 6. Through this sponsorship, all Xbox LIVE members (Free or Gold) will be able to enjoy Hulu Plus on Xbox LIVE, no Hulu Plus subscription or Xbox LIVE Gold membership required for an entire week,” Hryb stated.

It appears that customers willing to hand over some data about themselves, including credit card information will be able to extend the free Hulu Plus on Xbox LIVE offer up to an entire month, after which the billing period will start.

Provided that they use the latest browser from the software giant, customers will also be able to get free Hulu Plus for a month.

This is possible if they pin Hulu to the Windows 7 Taskbar via Internet Explorer 9. This offer is part of the special deals that Microsoft provided to users to celebrate the launch of IE9 RTW last month.

“Hulu Plus lets you watch hit current and back season TV shows and acclaimed movies anytime in HD for $7.99/month with limited advertising,” Hulu reveals.

“We think of it as a complement to the free service on Hulu.com. For many popular shows on our service, Hulu Plus offers every episode of the current season, not just a handful of recent episodes.

“Hulu Plus subscribers also have access to back seasons and full runs of some of TV's greatest shows, including many that were not available online before.”

Windows Internet Explorer 9 RTW for Windows 7 and Windows 7 SP1 is available for download here.
