Sony has finally revealed the list of free titles that will join the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus members in North America and Europe this month, across the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, including the likes of Driveclub: PS Plus Edition, Spelunky, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and more.

The PlayStation Plus service has delivered some stellar deals for its members over the years, chief among which being the free titles in the Instant Game Collection, which constantly sees new additions each month.

After letting Plus subscribers wait a bit longer than usual, Sony has confirmed on its PS blog the many different free games that will be offered to them for the month of October.

PS4 owners get four free games

Owners of Sony's new home console, the PS4, will get plenty of new freebies this month, starting of course with Driveclub: PS Plus edition, a special free version of the upcoming exclusive racing game that features all the different online and offline racing modes, as well as 11 tracks and 10 cars. Don't forget that PS Plus owners have a special upgrade deal, which charges them less money to transform the free PS Plus version of the game into the final, full-fledged one with all the actual content.

Besides the new racing title, PS4 users can also get Dust: An Elysian Tail for the new console, which delivers a gorgeous world with pretty visuals and an action-packed adventure.

Two cross-buy titles that work on multiple platforms are also coming to the PS4, in the form of Pix the Cat, a new arcade game that is compatible with PS4 and PS Vita, and Spelunky, the highly popular side-scrolling platformer that works on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.

PS3 and PS Vita users also get some great games

PS3 owners will also get some pretty sweet games, in addition to the aforementioned Spelunky via cross-buy, in the form of Batman: Arkham Asylum, the first entry in the stellar open world action adventure series from Rocksteady and Warner Bros., as well as Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, the remastered arcade game from Capcom that should offer players a great blast from the past.

Last but not least, PS Vita users will be able to enjoy, besides Pix the Cat and Spelunky, Rainbow Moon, the turn-based RPG with a lengthy story and big battles, which is also available via cross-buy for the PS3.

All these free games are set to enter the PS Plus Instant Game Collection on October 8 in both North America and Europe.
