Mobile phone game "Evil Killer" is the new strategy that the Action committee Against Narcotics (ACAN) and the Narcotics Division of the Security Bureau have decided to take in the fight against drug use.

Entertainment is one aspect of the youngsters' every day life, which makes a mobile phone game one of the most efficient solutions for making some messages come across. Just to make sure that nothing stands in the way of making this game reach as many handsets as possible, "Evil Killer" will be available for free download.

This new campaign is meant to inform as many teenagers about the harmful effects of using Ketamine and Ecstasy, two of the most frequently used drugs. Players need good memory and coordination skills in order to win the battles through the different stages of the game. Throughout this experience, they will also have the chance of learning about the dangerous effects of drug use.

Such an addiction can result in damaged brains and body functions, falling IQ, as well as in a painful rehabilitation process. There is also a legal aspect against such activities, which can result in penalties of seven years of prison and USD 1 million fines.

Whether "Evil Killer" will be a success or if it will manage to combat drug use amongst young people is left to see. The least it can do is to make the community even more conscious of the dangers that drug users are exposing themselves to and have them take actions against it. After all, the mere fact that it is free won't make it a great entertainment source for those who are lured by the idea of using drugs.

"Evil Killer" will also feature a computer game, as to reach as many environments as possible. It will be available for free download from now on from a large number of websites, including that of Narcotics Division, the CROSS Centre and the 3HK Planet 3G.
