If you're still using a download manager to speed up file transfers and get music or videos from the Internet faster, chances are that you've already tried Free Download Manager until now.

And in case you've decided to keep it around for a while, it's worth knowing that the app today received a new update that tweaks it in order to work better with newer browsers, including Firefox 30.

The feature lineup remains unchanged, so no surprises here. You can still download files using the BitTorrent protocol, get videos from popular sites such as YouTube, resume broken downloads, adjust traffic usage, explore sites to find files to download and use simultaneous downloading from several mirrors.

Free Download Manager obviously works on all Windows versions on the market, so it also supports Windows XP, even though this particular OS build has already reached end of support and no longer receives updates and security patches from Microsoft.

In the end, this update should clearly be good news for those who are now running the beta version of Firefox 30 and using this app too, so get Free Download Manager right now to fix any compatibility issues that might exist with your browser.
