There is no denial that Free Download Manager gets better with each version. This time around, the developer dealt with several bugs affecting the overall functionality and stability of the application, but they also managed to solve some thorny issues.

Free Download Manager 3.8 Build 1151 Beta 6 comes with a correct algorithm for determining the network speed and it should no longer crash the browser when the option for monitoring flash video is enabled. Additionally, the download manager eliminated bugs that occurred when macros for Bittorrent downloads were used.

Since the launch of the first beta for FDM 3.8 the developer introduced new features, such as support for Firefox 5 and "%userprofile%" macros. An important step, however, is the possibility to import downloads from µTorrent and Orbit Downloader.
