Adobe Media Player is a rich Internet application based on Adobe AIR operating system runtime that allows the management of Internet TV content on Windows and MacOS operating systems. It provides online or offline access to 15000 pieces of video content formed by video clips and TV shows.

Adobe Media Player, as a desktop video content organizer, permits users to download and stream videos from major providers: among other leading television broadcasters, MTV Networks (MTVN) as well as CBS have just added new content to the catalog in Adobe Media Player. With over 400 shows including new popular programs such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report, it's clear that we're spurring a seismic shift in how content is distributed and consumed."

The Adobe Media Player application, besides providing a high-quality HD playback of FLV videos, also gives users the possibility to view videos at different resolution values (480i, 720p or 1080p). Custom video feeds can also be added and, as a consequence, the new video content from Internet TV shows will be received automatically. New video content is continually added in a searchable catalog in order to be easily discovered by viewers.

The distribution of Internet video content through the Adobe Media Player application will definitely bring new perspectives for publishers as well as pleasant experiences for viewers (consumers).
