14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has confirmed that owners of Xbox One consoles with faulty Blu-ray drives will receive as compensation a free digital game of their choice, including Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, or Zoo Tycoon.
The Xbox One was launched last week in 13 countries around the world and immediately some users reported various problems, such as a faulty Blu-ray drive that didn't fully receive the discs, or the Green Screen of Death which signaled a start-up problem.
Now, after acknowledging the issues, Microsoft has confirmed that all users who encountered a faulty Blu-ray drive, besides getting their consoles replaced, will also receive a free digital game of their choice. They can pick between Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, or Zoo Tycoon.
The announcement was made by a Microsoft representative to Polygon.
