Crysis 3 is out at the beginning of next year and now Electronic Arts has kicked off a special pre-order incentive, which offers anyone who pre-purchases the first-person shooter a free downloadable copy of Crysis 1.

Crysis 2 delivered a visually stunning shooter experience back in 2011 and developer Crytek is now getting ready to debut a sequel that promises to blend the urban environment from the last game with the tropical jungle seen in the first Crysis title.

As such, in order to further promote the upcoming game, EA and Crytek have confirmed that anyone who pre-orders Crysis 3 will receive a special code that can be used to redeem a free downloadable copy of Crysis 1 on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

According to CVG, the offer will be available “while supplies last at participating retailers”, but EA doesn’t mention what actual stores participate in the promotion.

Crysis 3 is expected to appear on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in the beginning of 2013.
