14 DAY TRIAL // Agile Web Solutions is joining software vendors in celebrating the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday with an attractive offer for registered users of 1Password, the popular password manager and form filler for Mac OS X (also available for Windows), and users of Knox for Mac, a data storage and backup solution.
According to Agile’s announcement, which also comes in the form of an open letter via email for registered customers, those who own either a copy of 1Password or Knox can gift a full license of either piece of software to a friend or family member.
“Agile Web Solutions is celebrating the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday with a special gift for all of their customers,” the company announced.
“Customers who own a copy of 1Password 3 for Mac, 1Password for Windows or Knox can give away a full license of the product they own to a friend or family member at no cost, and with no strings attached,” Agile confirms in a report.
Agile also purchased two books for every customer (“Take Control of Thanksgiving Dinner” and “Take Control of Passwords on Mac OS X”), while newcomers can purchase anything in the Agile store for 20% off.
Best of all, new customers will also be eligible for the free license giveaway.
“New customers aren’t left out of the celebration, either. During the Thanksgiving season, all Agile products can be purchased at 20% off, and purchases are immediately eligible to give away an extra license,” Agile Web Solutions notes.
The software vendor describes 1Password as “the premier password manager for Mac and Windows, offering secure storage for notes, identities, software licenses, and web passwords and logins, as well as advanced form-filling functionality.”
Weighing in on Knox, the Toronto-based firm explains that “Knox is a complete, encrypted data storage and backup solution which works seamlessly with OS X and Finder.”
