Here we are, just two days before the end of 2011, bringing you the latest in BIOS files. Not much for today, looks like manufacturers are really on a holiday.

Nothing exciting happening these days in the BIOS world so we'll just add a reminder for those who own X79 Gigabyte boards: if you plan to overclock, please upgrade to BIOS version F7 before doing so. The older BIOS will not protect your board too well and you could end up like the guy in the video. To see the board smoking, scroll the movie to 3:47.

Here is today's BIOS pick:

Asus N73SV Notebook Bios 306
MSI 990FXA-GD65 Bios 19.6
HP G62-352US Notebook BIOS F.37 for Windows 7
HP G62-353NR Notebook BIOS F.37 for Windows 7
HP G62-354CA Notebook BIOS F.37 for Windows 7

As both hardware and software evolve, old BIOSes might become unstable or simply prevent you from using your computer to its full potential. Therefore it is highly recommended to always use the most recent BIOS version available.

Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest BIOS files.
