14 DAY TRIAL // Nike is offering up a free iPhone app that aims to inspire designers to easily determine which materials should be used for which products.
Based on the Nike Materials Sustainability Index (MSI), Making provides the necessary information on numerous types of materials, enabling users to make predictive decisions.
“Whether you are a designer, a product creator or are just interested in the impacts of the materials you use, MAKING will help you make better choices,” Nike promises.
The software includes seven years’ worth of research done by Nike engineers, all of which is freely available on this site, now packaged in a friendly interface in the free “Making of Making Powered by NIKE MSI” application for iPhone and iPad.
Making requires iOS 6.0 to run and a compatible iDevice.
