Apple may pull this one as well, but users still have a chance to download

We might cause more harm than good by reporting that Free App Tracker is alive and kicking in the App Store following the removal of AppGratis, a similar app-discovery application that has made a lot of headlines lately.

As AppGratis itself states, Apple’s App Store review system is at times flawed and inconsistent, meaning Apple can reject one app and allow another that does the same thing to live on.

Apple itself reads the news, so us reporting that Free App Tracker can fill the gap left by the rejection of AppGratis might actually light a blip on Apple's radar.

Just like AppGratis, Free App Tracker displays daily collections of apps on that are either free or have recently dropped in price on iTunes.

AppGratis was rejected (in part) for replicating the App Store's functionality. StuckPixel’s Free App Tracker does pretty much the same thing, as it tracks and displays hoards of apps with promotional purposes.

If you didn’t get a chance to download either of the two apps, might we suggest you hurry up and get Free App Tracker? Even if it gets pulled, the service should continue to work as long as you have the app installed on your iDevice.
