Free Antigen Trial Downloads

Microsoft is offering a variety of free download packages based on Antigen, containing trail versions of the security solutions. As of October 7, no less than five downloads went live on the Microsoft Download Center offering a range of Antigen flavors designed to adapt to various scenarios involving bulletproofing email and collaboration servers. The downloads can be separated into categories: Antigen email server security trial software and Antigen collaboration server security trial software, with all the trial products offering users 30-day test drives.

The “free 30-day trial of Microsoft Antigen 9.0 SP1 includes updates for Antigen for Exchange 9.0, Antigen for SMTP Gateways 9.0 and Antigen Spam Manager 9.0. Take advantage of new enhanced support for clustered Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange 2000 environments, scanning of Office 2007 file formats and globalization features,” Microsoft informed.

For email servers, Microsoft is offering Antigen for Exchange with Antigen Spam Manager 9.0 with Service Pack 1 Trial Software and Antigen for SMTP Gateways with Antigen Spam Manager 9.0 with Service Pack 1 Trial Software. Both offerings bring Antigen for Exchange, Antigen for SMTP Gateways, and Antigen Spam Manager.

When it comes down to collaboration servers, users will be able to test Antigen for SharePoint Trial Software; Antigen for Windows SharePoint Services Trial Software and Antigen for Instant Messaging Trial Software. The first two solutions are designed to secure SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services document libraries while the last can be implemented on top of Live Communications Server.
