Scotish rock and roll band Franz Ferdinand decided to extend their tour with another 10 concerts, due to the demands.

The band decided to add more shows because all the tickets from November 22 gig at Glasgow's SECC sold out. The tickets for the added concerts went on sale this morning at 9 a.m.

The dates, with Editors and The Rakes providing support, are as follows:

Brighton Centre - November 15

Birmingham NEC - November 16

Aberdeen AECC - November 21

Glasgow SECC - November 22/23

Hull Ice Arena - November 25

Manchester MEN Arena - November 26

Newcastle Arena - November 27

Nottingham Arena - November 28

London Alexandra Palace November 30-December 1

Franz Ferdinand will release their new album, 'You Could Have It So Much Better...With Franz Ferdinand', on 30 September.
