Quite frankly, we're still sitting here drooling over the latest “Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For,” and now Frank Miller springs this bomb on us. Apparently, he has plans to extend the franchise to include one more film which will also be directed by Robert Rodriguez.

In an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Reddit, Frank Miller said that, “As a matter of fact, my involvement in Sin City 2 right now is mainly I'm working with [director Robert Rodriguez], I'm sort of ad libbing on the edit, I'm saying 'let's lose this scene, let's keep this shot' but he's such an expert editor he doesn't need that much help.”

He went on to describe his work and involvement in the current movie, “But I am able to help work on the characters a bit more, and make the entire thing feel very Sin City, because it has a very particular tone to it, a very particular intent. I don't talk too much about what Sin City is because it's really my secret.”

Finally, he gave some of the fans out there real hope there was a sequel in the works. “Meanwhile, the other thing I'm eager to do and I've got plans (in my head anyway) for Sin City 3 - that will of course be subject to me and Robert having countless lengthy and productive arguments,” he said.

Miller is already at the second movie in the franchise and this time around he was even more involved in the process. In the latest trailer released this week, he is credited in the title, but he's also listed as co-director and creator.

Just like the first movie, “Sin City 2” is full of famous names which include Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen and Bruce Willis. They are all recurring characters from the first part.

New characters that are introduced in this second part are going to be played by Eva Green, Josh Broling, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, June Temple, Ray Liotta, Lady Gaga and Jeremy Piven.

“A Dame to Kill For” is already drawing controversy, as one of the posters for the film has been censored by the MPAA for being too raunchy. It featured a scantily-clad Eva Green in a transparent nightie that left little to the imagination.

The movie is due to come out in August, on the 22 in the UK and the 29 in the US.
