It will ship starting tomorrow, for $270 / 210 Euro, including tax

Fractal Design has just introduced, in Japan, a product that we really hope to see in the markets of the rest of the world, even though we know that it is too expensive for most people.

And by expensive we mean to say that the price, including taxes, is of around 21,000 Yen, or $270 / 210 Euro.

We dare say the sums are worth it. After all, not all PSUs can claim to possess a high enough energy efficiency that they earned 80Plus Platinum rating.

Curiously, the product page doesn't say exactly what that efficiency rating is, in percentages, but it clearly is of up to 90% or more.

Sales of Newton R3 1,000 W should begin tomorrow, September 14, 2012. The modular design, output (1,000 W) and SLI/ScrossFireX certification are among the most relevant assets.
