These are the power supply units that can keep up with the processors

Intel's next-generation central processing units (fourth generation, Haswell) will be the most efficient in the company's lineup, ever. This, however, has raised some problems.

Basically, the chips are more efficient than the power supply can be, to the point that they must either be limited in their power savings capabilities or lead to unstable PC systems when powered by normal PSUs.

It isn't easy to spot which PSUs work though, because the technical detail relevant to the matter rarely, if ever, gets listed on the spec sheet, not to mention the box.

That is why PSU makers have been publishing lists of qualified PSUs (SeaSonic, Enermax).

Fractal Design has just published its own collection, which we've included in the screenshot above.

The PSUs are divided into the Newton R3, Tesla R2 and the Integra R2 series.
