Foxit Partners Up with Amazon

The goal of the partnership is pretty evident, as Foxit is among the top alternatives as far as reading, editing, creating, organizing, and securing PDF documents is concerned. On the other side, Amazon can extend and improve PDF support on Kindle devices.

With Amazon pumping its PDF reading solutions to Kindle community, Foxit Corporation extends its business to new horizons that appeal to an increasing number of users.

Although Foxit Corporation boasts more than 100 million users, the dominating solution for PDF viewing on computers is by far the one developed by Adobe (Adobe Reader).

As Kindle represents a market not yet touched by Adobe, Foxit has a head start on this one. "Foxit has an industry-leading PDF technology that we think will make the customer experience for PDF's on Kindle even better - we’re excited to back such a great team,” said Jeff Blackburn, senior vice president, business development, Amazon.com.
