Not all that long after Micro-Star International revealed what may very well be one of, if not the biggest P67 motherboard yet (with 8 PCI Express x16 slots), Foxconn is shown to also have a high-end Sandy Bridge-ready platform.

It appears that the folks over at Donanimhaber have once again managed to get their collective hands on the photos and specifications of an upcoming piece of hardware.

As one may have guessed already, the photos in question are of the Foxconn P67 motherboard, conveniently dubbed Quantum Force P67.

It predictably bears the LGA 1155 socket and, being part of Foxconn Channel's gamer and overclocker brand, obviously has quite a performance potential.

That said, the motherboard boasts a 14-phase digital PWM circuit for the CPU socket, which has independent single-phase PWM inductors made by CPL. Even the memory uses a 2-phase VRM.

As consumers probably figured out, these components, in addition to such things as a diagnostic LED display, rear-panel CMOS reset button, redundant BIOS in separate EEPROM chips and the Volterra PWM IC (for high-precision voltage control) are what make the mainboard suitable for overclocking.

When it comes to gaming prowess, Foxconn made sure to implement a pair of PCI Express x16 slots (electrical x8/x8 with both populated).

There are also a pair of internal SATA 6 Gbps connectors, for fast hard drives or solid state drives, in addition to the expected four SATA 3 Gbps ports.

The product also comes with 8+2 channel HD audio with optical and coaxial SPDIF connectors, a pair of eSATA ports and an ATA connector (for up to two IDE devices).

Other specifications include USB 2.0 ports, a pair of USB 3.0 connectors, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, FireWire and support for NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX.

No exact details were given on when and where this motherboard will start selling, or at what price, but one can assume to not have to wait for it too long, since it will probably debut in Q1, 2011, perhaps at CES, like most other Sandy Bridge or Sandy Bridge-ready hardware.
