Foxconn Leaks New White iPhone Made in Brazil - Photos

Leaked photos from Brazil are circulating on the web depicting a White iPhone 4 model with 8GB storage capacity and a stamp on its back that says it was manufactured at Foxconn’s recently erected facility in Brazil.

The leaked images clearly show a Brazil designation with a a localized model number and the words "Brazilian Industry" in Portuguese, as well as the affix of approval from ANATEL, the leading telecommunications agency in the country.

Brazil is yet to sell Apple’s relatively new 8GB iPhone 4 model. The device is expected to go on sale alongside the new iPhone 4S. MacMagazine.br claims to have received these images from an unnamed reader. The blog’s "reliable source" said that that "Made in Brazil" units are to go on sale in December.

The phone packs iOS 5.0 and carries a model number that ends with "BR," which further indicates that Foxconn assembled this unit in Brazil.

The first units are said to be on track for arrival in Sao Paulo, Brasilia and other major capitals, then gradually arrive in other cities in Brazil.

The 8GB iPhone 4 has been quite the hot topic of discussion this year, before Apple finally confirmed its existence at the October 4 event scheduled by Cupertino to launch the brand new iPhone 4S.

The move made it possible to also keep the iPhone 3GS on board for another year. This model is sold for $0 with the same two-year agreement with supported carriers.

The 8GB iPhone 4 sells for $99 in the U.S. with a two year carrier contract. It is said to have better cellular reception than the original iPhone 4 launched in 2010.
