In the aftermath of the Boston bombings, Fox has decided to pull an episode of “Family Guy” that aired back in March and showed Peter Griffin winning the Boston Marathon by running over athletes with his car.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the entire episode has been pulled from websites and will never go back up again. Neither will it air on TV again.

Clips edited from the episode made it look as if it somehow “predicted” the real-life attacks. In them, Peter was shown winning the Marathon by planting the two bombs.

“Fox Broadcasting on Tuesday yanked a recent episode of ‘Family Guy’ from websites after edited clips of the animated series appeared to portray a bombing, mayhem and deaths at a Boston Marathon,” the LA Times says.

“Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane has also confirmed this on Twitter, while also shooting down all conspiracy theories.

“The edited Family Guy clip currently circulating is abhorrent. The event was a crime and a tragedy, and my thoughts are with the victims,” Seth writes.
