Third Screen Media has announced that
Fox News has joined the constantly growing list of companies that enable their mobile advertising initiative by using MADX, Third Screen Media's web-based mobile ad management and delivery platform.
Adding Fox News to the list comes in a time
when an increasing number of renowned brands are looking to launch mobile campaigns that target the influential business mobile user. At the moment, those brands that are seeking to reach the coveted business audience through targeted advertising can reach over 80 percent of the 15 top mobile web sites.
Jeremy Steinberg, Vice President of Digital Media Sales and Business Development for FOX News commented: “Fox News is always looking for new opportunities to expand the brand and the mobile sector provides many possibilities that will both benefit the viewers and advertisers.”
Thus, Fox News is joining other major content providers that have chosen to work with Third Screen Media, including large, high-traffic Wap portals and publishers of entertainment, travel, sports and other content.
The other big media brands include ESPN, USA Today and The New York times that have all added advertising to their mobile websites. Along with Telephia's third-party mobile user data, the MADX solution and its proprietary performance data enables advertisers and publishers to make decisions regarding the planning, buying, as well as delivery of mobile advertising. Fox News will be adding video advertising and other forms of advertising in the near future, although an exact date hasn't been made official.
"We are doing this now because our advertisers are asking for it," said Jeremy Steinberg, vice president of digital media sales and business development at Fox News Channel. "And with the way the mobile market has been growing, we think this will be a big business for us down the road."
