Add another name to the list of people who won’t be invited on Fox News ever again. Author Thomas Ricks dared criticize the network for being a “wing of the Republican Party” and was immediately cut off on air.

Watch the video below to see how that went down.

The author was on Fox News to talk about the killing of 4 Americans in Banghazi, Libya, but he was trying to make a point that Fox was hyping up the killing, something it had not done in even more serious situations.

In doing so, it had lost all journalistic credibility, Ricks tried to argue.

“I think that the emphasis on Benghazi has been extremely political, partly because Fox was operating as a wing of the Republican Party,” he said, criticizing the network.

He was then immediately cut off but, judging by his incredibly classy reaction, he was totally expecting it.

How could anyone be surprised by Fox's response? They are a group of political hacks who spend most of their time denying the obvious. They then exascerbate their right-wing agenda with more and more inaccurate propaganda, lies, and exaggerations, all the while continuing to try to fool their misdirected listeners to believe they are actually 'fair & balanced'. What a joke! I honestly believe they are more of a threat to this country and our ability to effectively deal with our serious issues and problems, than any other current entity...even those sworn to America's destruction. Wise up people. (You know who you are!) Stop listening to bloviating idiots who care more about their ratings, book sales, and speech fees, than being honest and truthful to the American public. (Can you spell Sarah Palin? How about Glen Beck or Sean Hannity?)

The funny thing is ... most people I know who watch Fox regularly would be fine if Fox WAS operating as an arm of the GOP, whether they believe it does or not.

As long as Fox continues its acrid blasphemy and lies, the Republican party will never be voted in by Americans again. You can fool a people for a some time but you can't fool them all the time.

I think this gentleman is absolutely right , this tragedy is still under investigation and must be kept under wraps until the truth is known not make guesses or accuse anyone of misleading the public or use as a tool to degrade the reputation of others . Bless the souls of those killed

If the Obama administration wouldn't have lied to begin with and just been straight with the public these discussions would have ended long ago. Transparency my * .

Well its Fox News, what do you expect? If you are not there to tell them that President Obama is good for nothing and must be crucified for personally ordering the attack on Benghazi then get ready to be kicked out. Makeup the story they don't care, the American public knows better.

I wonder if he thinks MSNBC is a socialist/democratic shill?
"he was trying to make a point that Fox was hyping up the killing, something it had not done in even more serious situations."
I can scarcely imagine a more serious situation than the invasion of sovereign US soil going unavenged, and the murder of those assigned to that area going uninvestigated.

With so MANY lies and deceptions that have come out of the present White House on just about EVERYTHING, and all the illegal and unconstitutional shenanigans that have gone on; 'hum' do I believe FOX NEWS, who at least gives the news( the other main stream news stations didn't address nor question why there wasn't enough security in Benghazi nor did anyone send help in the 9 hr battle, at the consulate) that cost 4 American lives; or do I listen to some 'left wing' radical, that wouldn't stay over in Libya himself with inadequate security!!??? UHHH---I don't blame Fox for ending interview! There are still Patriotic Americans that want the truth and not fabrications from our own GOVERNMENT!!! And I'm not alone in wanting the absolute TRUTH for a change!! By the way, I'm an Independent, and have voted both Dem and Repub. so don't label me anything but a Patriotic American who still believes in honesty, the constitution, the bill of rights, and punishment of those who neglected their obligations to SECURE and PROTECT our American citizens overseas and here at home!! And, not make up excuses and deceptions and not accept the responsibility of 4 American deaths in Libya!!

Priceless. America truly needs upright, honest and blunt men like this. I yanked off Fox a long time ago cos they are being used to cause untold repression and retrogression to Americans. How can someone build his kingdom on falsehood. It will surely collapse one day. I wonder what they intend leaving as their legacy? Lies, falsehood, rumours etc. May God remove this Fox from existence.

Wow. That guy is sharp. The egg dripping off Fox looks good. Oh yeah, remind me not to go off half cocked into a public debate with Thomas Ricks...
