Anchor says villain in the film is pushing anti-business agenda to kids

This isn’t the first time that Fox News is accusing Hollywood of pushing an anti-business agenda to impressionable kids through something apparently as innocent as an animated movie, and it will probably not be the last either.

A heated Fox News debate started the other day on the topic of “The Lego Movie,” and how its villain, named Lord Business, is actually Hollywood’s way of vilifying bankers and businessmen.

The Fox anchor and his guests go to great lengths to blast Hollywood for being hypocritical and, in more ways than one, completely shameless for using an animated film for its dirty little agenda.

However, what they’re all missing out on, which you probably know if you saw the movie, is that Lord Business isn’t pushing “business” in the film, but conformity and lack of change.

Philip Lord, one of the co-directors of the film, has picked up on the Fox News debate and he professes himself quite amused that a handful of people would get so hot under the collar on the topic when they probably didn’t even bother to see the film, considering how mistaken they are in their interpretation of the villain.
