A new Beta Build of Firefox 6 will be made available for download soon. This is the fourth Firefox 6 Beta Refresh, no that anybody’s counting, as the development process of Firefox 5’s successor approaches finalization. At this point in time, the candidate Builds of the upcoming Firefox 6 Beta Refresh are offered to early adopters, but that’s about it.

The fully-fledged fourth Firefox 6 Beta refresh is not yet available, either through the official download page for pre-release versions of Mozilla’s open source browser, or on the company’s FTP servers.

As I’ve told you last month, Mozilla was planning to build the final Beta of Firefox 6 this week, a release which would qualify as a Release Candidate (RC) of the browser version.

It’s unclear whether the fourth Firefox 6 Beta Refresh is also the Firefox 6 RC or if the last Beta is yet to be built. But as I’ve said, Firefox 6.0b4-candidates are already up for grabs, and when the release will go live, it will first be published on the company’s FTP servers.

In addition, Mozilla will also offer Firefox 6.0b4 through its Future of Firefox webpage.

Users that make their way to the site now will notice that Mozilla introduced a small redesign. Now there are but two categories available for download, Firefox Aurora and Firefox Beta. Both however, offer downloads not only for the desktop, but also for mobile devices.

Firefox 6 will be finalized and released to end users approximately in mid-August 2011, at which point in time, early adopters will get to start testing Firefox 7 Beta and Firefox 8 Aurora.

For the time being, Firefox 6 Beta can be downloaded alongside Firefox 7 Aurora. Firefox 8 bits are also available but only through the Nightly Channel.
