United Airlines flight 93 crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the fourth plane which was hijacked on 11 September 2001, will become a subject for a new movie made by Universal Pictures. Flight 93, the fourth hijacked plane, is believed to have been heading for the White House before passengers attempted to overcome the hijackers and steer the plane away from its intended target
The modest budget movie, to be directed by British film-maker Paul Greengrass, will be a real time account of the plane's hijack until its crash 90 minutes later, according to BBC.
Shooting will begin in October. Meanwhile, a documentary about Flight 93 will be shown on US television next month.
The events on 11 September are the subject of another movie, directed by Oliver Stone and starring Nicholas Cage. The movie described by the director as "an exploration of heroism in our country", telling the story of two police officers trapped in the rubble of the World Trade Center in New York, is expected to be released next year.
