The Foursquare mobile client for BlackBerry devices has received an update this week, currently available for download as version 10.4.0.1694.

The new app release comes to devices with an updated user interface, providing all owners of BlackBerry devices who are taking advantage of its features with a new look and feel.

At the same time, Foursquare claims that the application is capable of offering them a series of big performance enhancements when it comes to its main screen, though specifics on the matter haven’t been provided.

However, those who will grab and install the new app iteration (you’ll find a download link below) will be able to test said enhancements on their own.

In addition to these changes, the new Foursquare for BlackBerry comes with a new highlights carousel, as well as a new venue page, as BerryReview notes in a recent post.

The profile page was also updated, offering a better experience than before. At the same time, the app will provide users with easier check-ins, as well as with delivery options, which include Grubhub and Seamless, where available.

You can download Foursquare for BlackBerry from Softpedia today. The app is free and is compatible with BlackBerry 10 smartphones as well.
