14 DAY TRIAL // Foursquare Labs, Inc. has released a new version of its social networking application for iOS platforms, adding a simpler interface and extra functionality, such as a cool “nearby” button.
In Foursquare 6.3, the new “nearby” button lets you see which of your friends are around, and if you want to meet up with someone you can see each friend's most recent check-in with a few taps.
“As always, the second you open the app, we show you what's interesting around you, like a new restaurant or a popular concert nearby,” says Foursquare. “Find great stuff, nearby, right now, with the newly updated Foursquare.”
For customers who are “new to iOS 7,” Foursquare has a message: “Be sure to open the new Foursquare so you don't miss updates from your friends.” Question: who isn’t new to iOS 7?
