The updated app release arrives on devices alongside new iterations of the Android and iOS clients, and is said to pack various bug fixes inside, although no official changelog has been provided as of now.
With over 30 million around the world already using it, the service offers a fun way to tell friends where you’re at, while also enabling users to discover new places to visit.
“Wherever you are in the world, open up Foursquare to see where your friends like to go, and get recommendations for the best restaurants, bars, and sights in the area,” Foursquare notes.
Compatible with both Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.5 devices, the new flavor of the Foursquare application can be downloaded from this page.
