Since rolling out as many new products as possible is sort of a habit during CES, Canon's decided to unveil no less than four brand-new Powershot A-Series digital cameras, the A3300 IS, A2200, A1200 and A800.

The four new cameras offer plenty of advanced features, three of them (A3300 IS, A2200, A1200) sporting 720p video recording, as well as advanced Smart AUTO, Live View Control, and a Discreet Mode that switches off the cameras' auto-focus assist beam, sound and flash.

Moreover, the PowerShot A2200, A1200, A800 cameras feature Blur Reduction, while the PowerShot A3300 IS, A2200 and A1200 Digital cameras also offer users Canon's Creative Filter option.

Now, after checking some of their common features, it's time to take a look at what differentiates the new digital cameras from Canon.

So, the PowerShot A3300 IS, available in grey, red, blue, silver and pink, comes equipped with a 16.0-Megapixel CCD sensor, accompanied by a 5x Optical Zoom with Optical Image Stabilizer, a wide angle 28-140mm equivalent lens and 3.0-inch LCD screen.

Next comes the A2200 model (black, blue, silver and red color options available), that packs a 14.1-Megapixel CCD sensor, 4x Optical Zoom, 28-112mm equivalent lens and a 2.7-inch LCD screen.

The AA-powered, black or silver, Canon PowerShot A1200 Digital camera, on the other hand, features an Optical View Finder and also sports Canon's mode dial, a 12.1-Megapixel CCD sensor, 4x Optical Zoom, a wide angle 28-112mm equivalent lens and a 2.7-inch LCD screen.

Last, but certainly not least, comes the entry-level PowerShot A800, with a 10-Megapixel CCD sensor in addition to 19 Smart AUTO scene modes, a 3.3x Optical Zoom with a 37-112mm equivalent lens, a 2.5-inch LCD screen and AA battery-powered.

Canon's PowerShot A3300 IS will arrive in stores in February for $179.99, the A2200 will cost $139.99 when it becomes available in March, while the A1200, also set to arrive in March will retail for $109.99.

The model to become available, apparently, will be the PowerShot A800, set to retail in mid-February for an estimated selling price of $89.99.
