We already announced earlier today that US mobile phone carrier AT&T was preparing to launch the long-rumored Nokia E71x, as well as the Samsung Propel Pro, a successor of the Propel, and now we learn that there will be other devices ready for launch in the near future as well, among which we can count the Samsung Impression, LG Xenon, LG Neon and the Samsung Magnet.

And since we already said a few words on the full QWERTY smartphone Nokia E71x, as well as on the slider smartphone Samsung Propel Pro, we will skip these two and jump directly to the other four new devices that should make it to the carrier's lineup in the following weeks. As the operator states, the four devices will soon be added to its quick messaging phone offering, but they are also meant to expand its full-keyboard handset lineup to seven.

“Smartphones and quick messaging phones are no longer for early-adopters and text-happy teens," said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. "The ability to text often, or check your email from a phone is easy and more customers demand these features. These phones are a great addition to our best-in-class lineup and we can't wait to get them in our customers' hands in the coming weeks.”

The upcoming Samsung Impression would be the first mobile phone commercially available in the US to feature an AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) screen. In addition, the handset is also able to offer a sliding full-QWERTY keyboard, a metallic blue design, a 3.0-megapixel photo snapper and a 3.2-inch display with touchscreen capabilities. The device is expected to become available for purchase on April 7 with a price tag of $199.99.

Another quick-messaging phone to feature a full keypad is the LG Xenon, also coming with a touchscreen display, coupled with a 2.0-megapixel photo snapper and support for all of the company's entertainment services, including AT&T Navigator, Napster Mobile, eMusic Mobile, and more. The new device will come to the carrier's offering on April 8 in three colors, black, blue and red, while sporting a price tag of $99.99.

While the LG Xenon will be featured in MTV's upcoming series “The Phone,” having Justin Timberlake as executive producer, the LG Neon will only be a low-cost touchscreen device, yet still meant to make teens and text enthusiasts rejoice. The handset should include a full keyboard and a 2.0-megapixel photo snapper, as well as access to Instant Messaging, Mobile Email, AT&T Music, and mobile Internet.

The last device announced by AT&T for now is Samsung Magnet, a slim orange and black bar-shaped phone, also targeted at teens who are interested in getting their hands on a quick-messaging handset. The device comes with a WAP browser and also sports an integrated photo snapper in the package. The mobile phone carrier hasn't said anything about the price of the handset for now, except that it should be an affordable one. Both Samsung Magnet and LG Neon are to be launched “in the following weeks,” says AT&T.
