It seems that those who own a PalmOS-based mobile phone will be able to enjoy some new game titles this year, among which we can spot four new ones developed by Capcom, one of the leading names in the gaming industry. The four games heading towards PalmOS-based devices are Who Wants to be a Millionaire 2009, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?, American Gladiators and Resident Evil: Degeneration.

The Who Wants to be a Millionaire 2009 title provides players with 1,000 mind-bending questions. The game simulates the real show, and players will have to make use of four lifelines and their wits so as to be able to reach the $1 million question. At the same time, the game comes with real sound effects from the show, meant to make the action more intense, while also offering users a lot of fun.

The Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? title comes with all the fun and deceptively difficult questions that were able to turn the show into a popular household name. Players will have to answer a series of up to eleven questions from different subjects like U.S. history, math or social studies. Those who will manage to answer correctly will be able to go up to the $1 million question. Those who won't will have to say the phrase “I'm not smarter than a 5th grader.”

The American Gladiators version that comes to mobile phones puts amateur athletes in competition with action stars and stunt professionals. The contests include physical strength and endurance. There are seven classic gladiator events available with the game, including The Joust, The Wall, Assault, Powerball and the Eliminator, and players will have to face 12 of the toughest gladiators from the 2008 season.

Resident Evil: Degeneration has been developed based on the DVD and CG-animated movie. The game offers players the possibility to take the role of Leon Kennedy in a fight against an army of undead through an airport overrun. Players will have at their disposal an entire arsenal of weapons to help them in the pursuit against the horde of zombies, infected dogs and horrific tyrants. In addition, there are also 50 missions to get through before the game is over.
