Until Apple releases the iWatch, we can still dream of what it would look like

Curved screen, round or square display, touch screen, voice commands or buttons. These are just a few of the options Apple has to create an awesome iWatch or Health band. We've seen parts of what seems to be the next iPhone and iPad, but there's no telling of what the future iWatch will look like.

Designers around the world have jumped on this idea and created some of the most amazing concepts. Here's a list with only the most recent ones, just a couple of months before the seemingly big launch.

Set Solution, an Italian company, has published a video of a 3D rendering of the iWatch, complete with touchscreen and side buttons. It looks like a smaller iPod Nano strapped to your wrist.

The iWatch the Italian 3D designer imagined has an always-on screen and shows the time in hours, minutes and seconds. Tap that and you get to the actual lock screen. You will have some extra information on the date, battery percentage and signal strength. At the bottom of the screen, there is an Unlock slider that will reveal the home screen.

There are two columns of apps and a dock that holds 3 more apps. The designer believes an iWatch like this should have a 2.5" curved screen with High Resolution OLED display. The iWatch will run iOS 8 with a battery life of 6 days and will incorporate a multitude of health-related sensors.

The second concept is a little bit smaller, but it sports a full 3D virtual display. When the alarm goes off, you will be greeted by the Voice Assistant and shown the upcoming events.

Tap the screen once to get your fingerprint recognized and you get to the home screen. Tap another icon and you will be presented with a 3D holographic interface that you can interact with in mid-air.

The iWatch can host the pictures from your DSLR camera and lets you edit them "Minority Report"-style. The watch looks like it has all the apps your iPhone would run, like Maps, Movies and Home Automation appliances.

At the end, the designer tells the viewer this won't become a reality until 2019. One can only hope.

This next iWatch is a more down-to-Earth one. The designer has created a round display connected to a magnetic, flexible metal bracelet. The device will be able to run most of the apps your iPhone has, including a video player. We bet the video is not amazing on a small round display.

The last iWatch takes some design cues from the Samsung Gear Fit – a curved display that can be strapped to any bracelet. The designer, Akira Chang, shows some of the apps running on this device and nothing looks like the iPhone.
