14 DAY TRIAL // Foscam has released a new firmware package targeted at its FI9821W V2 IP camera, namely version 2.11.2.8, which includes a few changes that raise the device’s security level.
In other words, this fresh update now protects all code decryption, username, and password characters and resolves an issue regarding the Settings interface and a specific plug-in.
Besides the 2.11.2.8 app firmware, this package also includes system firmware version 1.4.1.9 as well as the 2.0.2.10 plug-in variant.
