The development team at Turn 10 and Microsoft are announcing that they are extending the life of the Season Pass for Forza motorsport 5 in order to include two new downloadable content packs that will be delivered during the coming summer months.

In an official update on the Xbox Wire, the two companies explain that they have always listened to the requests coming from the fan community for the racing title and that they have worked hard in order to improve the quality of the title since it was originally launched late in 2013.

Turn 10 states, “As a thank you to all of our loyal fans, we are extending the life of the ‘Forza Motorsport 5’ Car Pass to include two more monthly car packs. If you are a Car Pass owner, that means you’ll be getting the next two monthly DLC car packs – the ‘June’ pack, which is scheduled for release next Friday (more on that below), as well as our ‘July’ car pack – at no additional charge.”

This means that gamers who have bought the pass already or are considering getting it now will be able to use 20 new cars, which means that a total of 90 have been launched for Forza Motorsport 5.

The June pack will be offered on Friday, May 30, also as a gesture of gratitude to the fans who have supported the title, but the development team at Turn 10 is not yet ready to offer clear information on what vehicles will be included.

The developer adds, “Like all ‘Forza 5’ DLC cars, once you own a pack (or individual cars) you’ll be able to add them to your Forza 5 garage without using in-game credits or tokens. Look for more details the next monthly car pack for Forza 5 on Friday, May 30, and the full rundown on the July car pack in the coming weeks.”

Forza Motorsport 4 was one of the launch titles for the Xbox One home console and delivered a solid racing experience, enhanced by clever use of the cloud based tech that Microsoft created for the device.

Some players complained that too much content was hard to access via in-game credits and required the use of real-world money and the development team has tweaked the economy in order to improve the situation.

Rumors are suggesting that Turn 10 is currently working on another Forza project that might be revealed at E3 2014.
