Forza Motorsport 4 is set to receive a massive add-on in May, which marks the return of Porsche sports cars to the very popular racing game on the Xbox 360.

After a very long time, the Forza Motorsport series from Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft is once again going to feature cars from Porsche, the famous German automaker.

Porsche had an exclusivity deal with Electronic Arts, which meant its models appeared only in Need for Speed games.

Now, it seems that Microsoft has worked out a deal with EA and Porsche, meaning that Forza Motorsport 4 will get a special DLC pack that brings 30 sports cars from the famous company.

“This is the kind of news that deserves to be shouted from the rooftops: Porsche is returning to Forza Motorsport,” Turn 10 Studios revealed.

“Today we’re unveiling the first look at the Forza Motorsport 4 Porsche Expansion Pack, which will arrive on Xbox LIVE on May 22, featuring content and gameplay experiences solely dedicated to one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands.”

Among the cars that will be included in the pack are quite a lot of impressive models, including the Porsche 911 Sport Classic or the Porsche Boxster S. Seven of the cars are also going to be brand new for the Forza franchise.

“The Porsche Expansion Pack is more than just cars, however,” the studio mentioned. “The pack will also feature 20 brand new Porsche-centric events to be added to your Forza 4 career, as well as 10 new Xbox Live Achievements (worth a total of 250 Gamerscore points) all centered around Porsche. In addition, players can expect to see Porsche models in the AI field when racing in events, as well as integrated into Forza 4’s level reward structure.”

Turn 10 will also hype up the Porsche expansion pack for the game with special Rivals Mode events and new multiplayer races centered around the German sports cars.

Forza Motorsport 4 owners will have to pay 1600 MS Points for the Porsche add-on once it’s released on May 22.

Expect some more details and a full list of cars included in the DLC in the following weeks.
