Video game developer Playground Games and publisher Microsoft are announcing that Forza Horizon 2 is getting access to the brand new Napa Chassis Car Pack, which is designed to introduce some very cool new vehicles gamers can take for a spin in the impressive areas of southern France and northern Italy that the racing game simulates.

Gamers who have obtained the Season Pass for the title will get access to the downloadable content for free, while those who have not can pick up the new cars in the Xbox Live store for 5 dollars or Euro.

All those who own Forza Horizon 2 can also get access to the 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 for free.

The star of the Napa Chassis Car Pack is undoubtedly the 2015 McLaren 650S Coupe, which is designed to mix power and refinement in one beautiful package.

The official announcement of the new DLC explains that "In the supercar horsepower battle, the 650S stands its ground with horsepower worthy of its namesake (641 to be exact). True to McLaren form, acceleration is at the forefront, with 60 mph achieved in less than three seconds and more than 120 mph in a little over eight seconds."

Complex car features like brake steering and a drag reduction system that was borrowed from Formula One make the new 2015 McLaren 650S Coupe a very interesting choice for any gamer, and Forza Horizon 2 is probably the only way most of the players will ever get access to the car.

The DLC includes a number of other cars

The Napa-themed DLC also delivers access to the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged, which combines security and acceleration worthy of a supercar, both put in service of superb offroad performance.

The 1970 Buick GSX is a muscle car with an excellent pedigree which can deliver some rough but impressive moments on the road, and gamers can also get access to the 2015 Audi RS 6 Avant, a car that puts 500 horse power in the service of entire families, showing what power a wagon can generate.

Finally, gamers who pick up the Napa Chassis Car Pack will get access to the 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport, a sedan with a muscle car profile.

Forza Horizon 2 was one of the best racing titles of the year, and Microsoft and Playground Games are set to deliver more content for it in 2015.
