Forza Horizon 2 has just reached gold status, which means it's ready for release, and in honor of the great moment, a special gameplay video has just been released, showing off 13 minutes’ worth of the stellar racing game in action.

Forza Horizon 2 follows in the steps of its predecessor, Forza Horizon, and wants to deliver an open world experience in which players can race across Southern Europe in all sorts of great and quite expensive cars.

The game is set to launch at the end of the month but now, according to the official Twitter, the game has reached gold status, which means all work on the final version is complete and the title can start being printed onto discs for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms.

In honor of the great moment, a brand new video with 13 minutes of pure gameplay footage has just been released online, showing off some of the early moments of the game, in which players drive the impressive Lamborghini Huracan to the Horizon festival.

The footage was recorded on the Xbox One platform, but Horizon 2 is also coming to the Xbox 360 with the same amount of features, albeit with a lower visual performance.

Don't forget that today, September 16, a Forza Horizon 2 demo will be available for download on the Xbox One platform.

Until then, check out the video below.
