Microsoft has managed to bungle the announcement of a Limited Edition version for Forza 3 as the details were not revealed by the gaming company but by GameStop, which has listed it as being available for pre order while also adding its own bonus for those who plan to get the racing game early.

If you wish to wait for the official release, you must know that Forza 3 will be arriving exclusively for the Xbox 360 on October 27.

The Limited Edition of Forza 3, which is being developed internally and published by Microsoft, will include a 2 GB USB storage unit that also doubles as a key chain and a VIP pass that is set to offer those who get it access to five exclusive cars and to some other racing perks.

Those who buy the Limited Edition will also get a code so that they can download a Forza 3 theme for their Xbox dashboard. The price tag attached to this special offer is 79.99 dollars. If you get the package from GameStop via pre-order, you can receive the rather impressive 2010 Audi R8 V10 as a download, via the use of a special code.

The game should offer no less than 400 cars that players can race on a wide variety of tracks. The game was shown at E3 and Microsoft positioned it as being an alternative to the Gran Turismo series, which has its home on the PlayStation 3 and is set to get a new title during the fall.

Forza 3 has new physics and a control system allowing the gamer to really feel the weight and the momentum of the car that he/she is controlling, making the experience a very tactile one. Still, one of the developers of Gran Turismo 5 has said that the new game is not a threat to the series he is working on.

I've noticed something funny about this site
Most of the reviewers are ps3 fanboys

This story for instance. Its breaking some big news if your a racing fan
Then at the end of the story he writes "Still, one of the developers of Gran Turismo 5 has said that the new game is not a threat to the series he is working on."

Like if that has anything to do w/this story?
Somebody should tell this guy that those developers he was talking about was at the F3 booth taking detailed notes in a very unprofessional manner.
And in a way a team that is looking for answers would do. Not a team that is confident in there own product.

My two cents...
